Why do you want this job and why should we hire you?

I'm most passionate about culture and music, new social tech, journalism, communication skills, improving and constant learning. I'm on a quest for my dream job in order to grow with a team of people that I can admire and respect as fellow team mates. The job position and the words you used got my attention instantly. Also I have experience in journalism that relates strongly with culture, music and new trends. So I have the feeling that I can be a perfect candidate for the job.

What was your favourite job in your past and why?  
This year will be my 7th Sónar Festival accreditation. I can't miss this venue. Is the time of the year when I just write about music and collaborate with international media. Also create and define strategies to give real-time contents online in all social media in English, Catalan and Spanish. Also celebrating the venue by podcasting about Sónar venues, Sónar + D, new releases and all kind of news related to music, culture, technology and Barcelona. 

If this is your first job, tell us what was your favourite class in school? Why?I have more than eight years of experience now. But my favorite classes were investigative journalism and scientific journalism. Also all the classes where I acquire more skills to communicate professionally.  

What would your colleagues have to say about you?
Hope that you will find out soon that I have very good learning skills, good presence, hard-working individual, with innate and professional communicative skills and always a team player, proactive and building interpersonal dynamics in order to achieve synergy. Very passionate about information, contents, crossmedia strategies, journalism and history. Always willing to keep learning, seeking new formation. Thinking B.I.G. (that means to get close to the Books, Individuals and Goals needed to perform any task). 

Why did you move on, or why are you looking to move on, from your most recent position?
I will be very brief. I had a toxic work environment. Specially one individual. And I could not tolerate any kind of harassment or violence towards my team or me in the work environment. 

If money were no object, what would you do as your career?
I'll do what I'm doing but with a 110% dedication. That is creating appealing and relevant contents about music, culture and technology. In my Issuu web you can see my work in Spanish, English, as a journalist and designer of magazines with Adobe Creative Suite. I'll be expanding my abilities with new technology to improve the quality of my work and give the audiences the best (that is what journalism is about nowadays.)

What are your personal strengths? (Do not have to be job-related.)
Good background and education. Capacities to analyse, summarize, planning. Communicating in every way possible. Love culture and music (I'm a writer, journalist and a musician myself). Love to solve problems the best way possible, remain proactive and in continuous improvement. Always curious and seeking to get close to the proper books, individuals and setting realistic goals. I certainly love working with Adobe Creative Suite, SEM, all kind of tools for social media, implement new technology to the creation of relevant and professional contents. I'm a team player and I respect and believe in diversity and possess high ethical standards and an extensive set of skills. 

What are your top 3 weaknesses? (We all have those.)
1. I can't grow in a toxic work environment.
2. I tend to 'overwork' and 'undersleep' (and sometimes that has a negative impact in my work)
3. I need deadlines and good planning in order to be efficient as freelance journalist. Without them i feel a bit lost.  

Describe a time when you had to make a tough choice. What did you have to choose between and why did you make that choice?
I made that choice three days ago. I quitted my job immediately and without a plan B. Just because I could not withstand any level of harassment or mobbing in the workplace. I've always been very prone to speak out my mind with educated arguments and try to solve any injustice in the most professional fashion. I look forward to improve the social dynamics at work and give an educated treatment to all individuals. So we can move on to reach excellence and all goals setted.
